My Moth Orchids Are Not Thriving

I have a small moth orchid and a large one I just purchased for Valentine's Day for my wife.

I've noticed on both orchids now the roots were very happy and green both orchids are in bloom now and the roots seem to be getting dryer and shiviling up.

On the smaller orchid the bottom leaf has gone limp and turning yellow. I am wondering if this is normal or is something potentially wrong?

We did move the smaller orchid from the back room were the temperature is very cool to the living room with the wood stove and average temp of 70. Lighting conditions are the same.
